I was worried about slipping during hot yoga, but the natural rubber backing keeps me perfectly stable even when I'm drenched. The mat stays completely flat on the floor from the first unroll, too.

The microfiber top really does its job — the more I sweat in class, the better my hands and feet stick to it. Laying it out flat for the first time was a pleasant surprise; no curled corners at all, and the rubber backing holds firm on hardwood floors.
